Depending on what age you start working and when you decide to retire. Your working career can be between 40 to 60 years!
We’re not saying that to depress you. We’re just pointing out that unless you win the lottery or are already wealthy. like it or not, we all need to work to earn a living.
Working to earn money can start at a young age. From doing chores around the house for an allowance to delivering the newspaper or flyers. Some people don’t really start their “working life” until they finish high school or even university or trade school.
Not only will Chain Rags keep you looking good, but we will also try and help you with career and job tips and help you find the job you will truly love.
But for now, let’s all enjoy the job you have and work hard.

In Canada, there are many restrictions on when an employer can hire a minor. In Alberta and Manitoba, the minimum legal age to work is 13. But most provinces are either 15 or 16 years old. Quebec and the territories don’t have a minimum age but minors must have parental consent and there are limitations to the type of industry they can work in.
The standard retirement age in Canada is 65. However, you can start receiving it as early as age 60 or as late as age 70. If you start receiving your pension earlier, the monthly amount you’ll receive will be smaller. If you decide to start later, you’ll receive a larger monthly amount.
